Capturing River Light: A Photograph
The sun began to rise.
Clouds rolled in
from a cracked pine wood frame,
blown by implied occidental winds.
The now lit clouds
broke the blanketing sunlight,
casting black shadows
over gray, tree-speckled earth.
Hard, white mountains became
bright, beaming blurs,
shards of light piercing through its
revealed crevices
The sky and everything that touched it
kept the sunlight from all...
except the river, who
weaved through the mountains,
rushed through the valleys
and took the light the sky and its satellites
locked away.
Flowing far
through the cracks in the pine wood frame,
the river moved on

So that is that. All critiques are very welcome and thank you.
